
The 47th Miss Intercontinental Pageant was formally launched this afternoon at Conrad Luxury Hotel in Pasay City, The Philippines.
Miss Intercontinental Japan (MIJ) partnered with The Philipines Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) to bring the pageant to the Philippines. It was originally scheduled to be staged in Japan but due to unavailability of venue, they shifted to the Philippines.
Gracing the launching are Miss Intercontinental 2017 Veronica Salas Vallejo of Mexico, CEO Detlef Tursies, Miss Intercontinental Japan CEO Leonisa Gimena Miyamae, Miss Intercontinental Philippines 2018 Karen Gallman, Miss Intercontinental Japan COO Kumi Miyamae and Miss Intercontinental Japan 2018 Akari Maeda.
Miss Intercontinental 2018 is scheduled on January 8-26, 2019. Around 80+ candidates are expected arrive in Manila. Coronation night will be on January 26, 2018 at MOA Arena in Pasay City.
