Shweta Sekhon was crowned Miss Universe Malaysia 2019 at the grand coronation ceremony held at Majestic Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. The luminous night witnessed eighteen ladies who competed for the title of Miss Universe Malaysia 2019.
The 22- year,Shweta Sekhon proved to be a tough fight, an experienced lady who is not new to the pageant world. She now gets the prestigious opportunity to represent Malaysia in Miss Universe 2019.
The gala night witnessed the crowning of three more queens. Apart from Shweta Sekhon, Miss Yaw Hui Jing (Frost Yaw) was crowned the first runner-up, Miss Tessminderjit Kaur (Tess) was titled as the second runner-up and finally Miss Lee Su Hsien (Su Lee) was crowned as the third runner-up. A number of special awards were distributed to the young ladies and each one was excited and happy to receive the respective awards.
