Sandra Soman, a bright and vocal 22-year-old actress and fashion design student from Kerala, India was crowned Miss CosmoWorld 2019, at the prestigious pageant’s grand finals which was held at the glitzy St Regis Hotel in Kuala Lumpur last night. Soman was also the winner of the Miss Glamorous subsidiary title.
Securing the runner’s up spot was Shin Chaein, a 22-year-old model from South Korea, while Jessa Mae, a 21-year-old model from The Philippines took the 2nd runner’s up spot. Chaein also won the Miss Beautiful Smile subsidiary title.
25 delegates from 18 countries vied for the crown and various subsidiary titles, during the competition which was held over a period of 2 weeks.
The pageant was organised and produced by CL Skin, headed by pageant founder Carrie Lee, and presented by DDJ, OC Merit and SWL as title sponsors, with Hai-O, Geoskincare and Ibis Hotel KLCC as gold sponsors.
