Miss World Honduras 2017, Celia Monterrosa, handed over her reign to Dayana Sabillon on Saturday 16th June. Celia enjoyed her year very much and it was an emotional moment for both titleholders. The grand final was hosted by Bayron Floress and Nora Erazo.
Dayana won the two special subsidiary awards Señorita Mejores Piernas Energy and Señorita Mangys Elegancia. This gave her a good number of points towards the final selection. Angeleque Reyes, from Angelopedia, reports,
